Could this be THE Dave Stevenson?
I just bought a 486DX2-66 "Overdrive" processor off eBay and when it arrived the From: address seemed very familiar...
Dave Stevenson and the address included a road name containing "Primrosebank".
Could this be one of those "it's a small World" events?

Funnily enough the DE10 went out of stock soon after the MMS pre-orders went live. The first batch was 500 boards and that wiped out the global supply of the Terasic product.

Welcome to the board.
Given your Acorn background I would have thought that you'd have recognised the BNC composite port from the back of the Beeb.

Retro Computer Festival 2021
This weekend was the Retro Computer Festival in Cambridge and my Saturday set-up included my MTX500 + CFX, as can be seen here: IMG_2430.jpg If the table had been a little longer I would have had the MTX512 sitting open to show the insides. It was quite surprising how many visitors hadn't even heard...

Re: MEMOFEST 2021
Oh well, no Memofest, but if anyone's going to the Retro Computer Festival at the Centre for Computing History in Cambridge on the 9th/10 October I'll be taking my two machines for display on the Saturday. So, if you want to say hello that'd be nice. I'll have my CFXs there and will probably have th...

Have a look at this TI99/4A version of Scramble...

The TI 99/4A has essentially the same graphics chip as the MTX so we all know its limitations. I'd just like to know how the heck this person got smooth parallax sideways scrolling, multi-coloured sprites and more than 4 sprites on a scan line! Amazing.

Re: Edge connector woes
The technique to refresh edge connectors on other machines is to put on lots of flux and then a reasonable amount of solder on each finger and make sure that the new solder covers the whole thing, then use desoldering braid to suck off the excess solder, pulling the braid with soldering iron on top ...
