Re: 3D printed REMEMOrizer case.
Depends. It's designed to fit the Rememorizer PCB, which (mine at least) is 100mm (w) x99mm (h). The height being most important as it clamps the board along that dimension. It relies on a good fit to hold the case square to the MTX case. In other words, the only thing holding it in place is the PC...

Re: The MTX case profile drawings
I finally got myself a 3D printer, so I was able to print the improved CFX casing. The bottom and back plate: https://www.dropbox.com/s/h12yormdwf3zx5v/Photo%2028.1.2021%2C%2020.53.40.jpg?raw=1 With the top: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6fomyy069kxarrn/Photo%2028.1.2021%2C%2020.54.30.jpg?raw=1 I still ...

Re: The MTX case profile drawings
Well, it’s a pretty crappy doodle anyway. I’ll apply the supports. If you want to try to print it I can send you the file. I’ve changed from 123D Design to Fusion 360. Here’s a case that I designed for the Oric Erebus expansion: https://www.dropbox.com/s/69m47y7335yfdgp/Photo%2023.7.2020%2C%20...

Re: The MTX case profile drawings
Yeah, it’s now a single piece. The idea is to use countersunk screws to attach it to the main case, so that they sit flush to the back plate. I may add some structural supports between the bottom profile and side plate to make it more rigid. Also, I might design on a supporting cradle for the expans...

Re: The MTX case profile drawings
https://www.dropbox.com/s/83wheqzscouqrna/Photo%2026.8.2020%2C%2020.28.20.png?raw=1 I had some spare time, so thought I’d do some modifications to my Memotech expansion casing. Basically, I merged the side plate that has the opening for the expansion port with the bottom profile. Now it can be scre...

Re: The MTX case profile drawings
I just had look at the SDX. That seems to be held in place by just the edge connector. Is that really so?
I was just wondering if I designed an extra bracket that would fasten into the CFX pcb and it would then slide into the same slots as the MTX mainboard.

Re: The MTX case profile drawings
I'll ask what the black material was. EDIT: it was ABS.
Those are the same files. The third piece is a solid one, without the hole for the CF card.

Re: The MTX case profile drawings
Semi-professionally by my friend. The base is flat from what I can tell from the pictures. He tried printing it with a black material (ABS?) but here's what happened to it: https://drive.google.com/uc?id=0B4hVRiGu_HcjYVl5eS1CZjhHY28 He then switched over to PLA. I suppose he didn't have other than w...

Re: The MTX case profile drawings
I got my case pieces printed. There's also the third piece even though it doesn't show in the pictures. Need to get them painted. https://drive.google.com/uc?id=0B4hVRiGu_HcjNTdFLTdVVW16Nzg Sorry for loosing the other pictures. They were hosted at dropbox and apparently they don't support linking em...
