There used to be a development and demo version which had a drive attached via ribbon cable, so that the CP/M system could be accessed/used. I would think there would be somewhere on the mobo where a cable could be soldered/socketed.

My next suggestion was going to be to try a diffetent USB socket (USB 2.0/3.1) yoseeif it was a speed thing.

I guess some USB controllers are not as compatible as others!

I wonder if there is a comms speed issue going on here? Is the baud rating adjustable in any way to read/write to/from the Gotek?

I was very much looking forward to coming, but had difficulty finding a hotel willing to take my cash rather than government funding.

Now I am assuming that like all other things MTX/FDX/SDX, the bolts underneath the keyboard will undo and I can easily check out the circuits etc. beneath? Or will it be a case of easy ...
