I've seen people restore 1980s computers in a worse condition, but no, you would have to be mad to pay that price for a machine in that condition.

I do Zoom... but you only get 40 minutes free. However, only the host needs to pay the fee if you want a longer meeting, the guests pay nothing. During COVID the Acorn community regularly started video meetings via Zoom. They still have smaller regular meetings via video link. For work, we use Micro...
