Re: Adding files to SD card with win32
Ok, so dumb questions time :) I've installed the driver ok, but the next step (mounting the drive) requires an sddisc.bin file, which I assume is an image of the SD card. How do I get that exactly please? If I insert the card then Windows claims it isn't formatted (as expected I guess, because it is...

Re: Adding files to SD card with win32
Dave I think the "local copy" link is wrong? It actually points to Andy's site.
EDIT - half right, the icon link is fine, so thanks

Re: Adding files to SD card with win32
Given the title of this thread, I though it would be worth an update... Accessing content on SD Cards, or on images of partitions copied from SD Cards is now massively easier under Windows. Use the CP/M Callback Filesystem - see http://www.nyangau.org/cpmcbfs/cpmcbfs.htm. Basically you map a drive ...
Re: No Sound
Just to "close the loop" on this one - the audio out socket wasn't actually connected to the internal cable at all (oddly the audio part of the cable had been taped back to the rest of the cable, seemingly deliberately avoiding the correct connection). Soldering it back on restored my audio - thanks...

Re: Expansion Board Identification
Thanks Dave, that worked! A PEEK of 64122 shows the expected 1 so I appear to have a fully working 64k now

Expansion Board Identification
Hi guys, I've acquired an MTX500 which booted to a white screen when I first turned it on. It had an expansion card fitted (pictured below) - I removed this and the machine now boots fine. So - what is the board, a RAM expansion? And any ideas why it might cause such an issue? Should it have more ch...

Re: "The Source" - Second Printing, now taking orders . . .
Thanks again Dave, received mine this morning and am very happy

Re: No Sound?
Thanks Dave, I'll try those things asap.
No Sound?
Struggling (ok, massive failure) to get any audio from my MTX - I've tried both an RF lead, and a cobbled together collection of converters and leads (if somebody could provide a link to a supplier of the exact cable I need without this mess then I'd appreciate it) from the "Hi Fi" socket, without j...
