Actually, I see someone has written an MSX BIOS sitting on top of their "Cloud CP/M" so as to be able to run at least some MSX games "out of the box"...

True. It took 3.5 years to die. (One of the 74LS273 which control the ROM select line went bad.)

I'm sure if I could find my December 1984 statement (which does exist somewhere) it would show the £199 cheque to a Bedford independent computer shop for my MTX500. (I know, Dec. 1984, a bit late to the party.

The first 3rd party adverts for the MTX start in January '84.
Mention of a review of the MTX in the missing November '83 edition, which would suggest that was the launch.

According to the technical manual http://dunfield.classiccmp.org/nabu/nabutech.pdf the TMS generates an interrupt every frame, so it looks as if it's got interrupts connected.
