Re: Adding files to SD card with win32

Great.

What do you mean by "both screens in action"?

Games will use the MTX Video/TV output
CP/M Software (apart from games) will use the 80 column screen
- As far as I recall, nothing writes to both at the same time.

Or do you just want to play with BASIC on the 80 column screen?

Re: Adding files to SD card with win32

Hi again, are you sure that FDXB will not run? I have not tried it on mine yet, but FDXB is pretty "brain dead" - it will only run from my FDX's "A" drive (the one mapped to the boot drive - normally "B"), have you tried running it from "A"? regards Dave p.s., as you said earlier an "idiots step by ...

Re: Hello Everyone

Hi and Welcome!

Yup, REMEMOrizer certainly is a great piece of kit.

As Andy says on his site, it's certainly something we wish we could havehad in the '80s!

Re: MTX Repairs and testing

"No soldering iron required."

True - but a supply of GALs/PALs - and the ability to program them is :)

(Thats' what I thought Mark might have done at first, until he explaiined how he's done it)

Re: MTX Repairs and testing

Hi Mark,

Thanks a lot, that is very interesting.

I think I mentioned before that when Andy and myself had DRAM problems, we had the same symptoms, black screen and continuous tone.

Nice description of the fault finding process, can I pinch a copy for the website :-)

Re: Did you buy an MTX512 off ebau UK in January?

Ahah!! Hi Phill - thanks for the reply. Yes, that was the one - no PSU but an extra side plate thrown in. I did not actually sell it, so it's not really a case of "wanting it back" - more just wanting it :-) If you are not using it, then I would really appreciate getting it, let me know what you wan...

Did you buy an MTX512 off ebau UK in January?

There was an MTX512 sold on ebay in January 2013 by "balrog_genius" Did anyone here buy it? The reason that I ask is that he threw in a gash sideplate for an MTX 80 column board. If you are not using it (if you don't have the 80 column card, then you wouldn't need to), would you be prepared to part ...
