Re: Time passes . . .
Whats the latest on this...
Aberdeen or Cheshire?
29th/30th or other date?
Anyone said they'll attend or not?
Dates and places above currently look viable.
If others are going, then I will too.
But will need to know soon.

Re: The Fastest MTX on earth ??
Oh the shame of it, REMEMOTECH with its flash Altera FPGA beaten by some whipper-snapper with his Z180 and 74LS chippery....

Re: The Fastest MTX on earth ??
REMEMOTECH can also run at 25MHz, and because my newly recreated VDP, sound and other hardware doesn't have the timing/wait-state limitations of the originals you can run existing code unmodified without dropping video updates... It also runs with the T80 in the mode where non-M1 cycles run in only ...

Re: FDXB
I have previous considered patching FDXB.COM to make a REMEMOTECH/REMEMOrizer version.
It actually overwrites/replaces CP/M, and therefore includes its own driver for the disk.
Maybe one day I get back to looking at this...

Re: Where? South Cheshire. When? 17/18 October
Early October I am in Italy, so one of 17th, 18th, 24th works for me. Would be good to see MTXPlus+, CFX and Node stuff, and whatever else has been bubbling along in the background. I can bring my REMEMOTECH if anyone hasn't seen it before. I can bring my SDX if anyone needs to be able to transfer d...

Re: SD Card Choice ?
The size limitation comes from the sector size.
Larger cards have to have sectors > 512 bytes.
Memory space for buffering is a problem in the CP/M and SDX ROM drivers.
Yes, I'd recommmend buying a few <=1GB cards, while they're still available.
