Re: Pictures

Looks like you all had a good time and, as usual, lots being done with the Memotech. The NFX sounds really interesting. Next step is to hook it up with Node and have a Memotech network over the internet :D Really sorry to have missed it this year but unfortunately I was in Ghent celebrating my wifes...

Re: Rodents anyone ?

Hi all,

This is all very very interesting but way over my head.

Just my 2ps worth, but was there a standard used for CP/M and mice as that might help with deciding on a direction to go down.

A quick google did throw up https://www.seasip.info/Cpm/gsx.html

Re: Keyboard replacement

Wow! Thats amazing. Well done all. Why not mount a MTX in a ATX case with all the hardware mods you guys have come up with. It would have to be a black case :D That would cure the problem of space and mount points for drives and memory sticks etc. It would still be good to use a PS/2 keyboard on an ...

Re: Coding in Assembler on the MTX

The other place I learnt to code z80 (and 6502 for that matter) was the various magazines available back in the day. Your Computer being a good candidate. Amazing the number of tutorials available, all in monthly bite sized pieces :) Those where the days. What is needed now is a tutorial on how to w...

Re: Coding in Assembler on the MTX

If you are looking for a Z80 book, Toni Baker's Mastering Machine Code on your ZX81 is a good primer. It's what I used back in 1982/3. :D

Ok so it's very ZX81 centric but explains the instructions well IMHO.

Re: Cleaning Game Audio Files

Sorry for jumping on this a bit late in the day. Its been hectic. Still getting time to work on the next assembler shell which is nearly done. For what it is worth when I had tapes that wouldn't convert first time, I had a simple routine that would convert the wavs to bytes. Then another script that...
