Re: New tape cleaner tool
Paul, this is very helpful, thank you, I appreciate your help a lot. I would love to have the code to look over. You can mail it to me at muldjordlars [at] gmail [dot] com. Re: New tape cleaner tool
Nice you work on a new tool, but from now on I will release new games as Wav created by apptool, so the wav should be as clean as possible. I also have created new waves from previous games, and they all load nice on real hardware. Yes, that make sense. I mostly wrote this tool because I had proble...

So just updating this thread to direct anyone new to read through the pages of this thread to find the latest version of it. Thanks Bill for creating it!  ---------------- ORIGINAL POST: Hi guy...

As this is mostly related to software I decided to post it here. I hope that's ok. I'm currently creating videos of all the Memotech games I can get to work on my MTX512. First priority is to load them from the files downloaded from Claus' site. If I can't get those to work, I will try the same game...

Re: Sound and LOAD issues
Also a trick is to desolder from both sides, dont know if its works on the Memotech but I removed 8x 4116s from a ColecoVision board, the trick is to cut the legs off the ics. And then desolder from the legs-side of the board, and remove the legs with a tool. then later use a solder pump and heat t...

Re: Cleaning Game Audio Files
I just converted all of the mtx files I have to wav using the appmake.exe tool. I haven't tested all of them, but the few I checked sounded fine. Here's a link to all of them:

Re: Cleaning Game Audio Files
Hi Dave I tried to use the appmake tool, but I cant get it to work. Have you successfully made a new wave from a previous MTX file ? //CB I just converted Toado to wav using the "Toado (1984) (Continental Software).mtx" rom file. I used the following command line (I'm running it through W...
