Re: Help with CPMCP
Hi David, you are better off trying Andy's improved version that's he's called CPMCBFS - it's on his website. The way I do things are to use CPCBFS to mount the SD card or file image as a drive under windows, then use copy/paste to move files like I would between normal windows drives Some of my no...

Help with CPMCP
I'm able to use CPMCP to extract data from a disk image file, but I can't figure out how to add a file to the disk image. The syntax for CPMCP is very confusing!
To extract I've used:-
CPMCP -f memotech-type18 partition0.dat 0:file.mtx c:\cpmtools\partition0
What's the syntax to add?
Thanks!

Re: Vertical Bars on Display
Oh, okay. Good to know.
As the TMS9918 is running at 60Hz, I could replace it with an F18A. Decisions, decisions.......

Vertical Bars on Display
The display on my MTX500 has never been that good as there are faint vertical bars on the display. My recently acquired US spec MTX500 doesn't display these bars and is very clean. Any thoughts on what could be causing it? 39A9088A-0A3C-439C-A80C-3C01DA0EB8AC.JPG 55923EA3-C70C-4F5F-8D27-937034273F7F...

Re: Building a replacement MTX PSU
It's the 1A fuse (F3)
Changing the fuse to a 1A slow blow fuse solved the problem.
Thanks,
David.
Edit. I've just checked the USA spec BOM and it does say F3 should be a slow blow fuse, so I must have used the wrong type in the first place somehow.

Re: Building a replacement MTX PSU
A few months back I purchased a USA spec MTX 512 and have just got round to setting it up. It came with the RS232 expansion card as the original owner had it connected to the FDX, but somehow it was lost and wasn't part of the purchase, or was the original PSU. So I hooked it up to the 110v PSU I bu...
