Re: System Improbable

Could we build an add-on co processor card for the MTX that gave a high resolution display? Then I could connect three monitors to it (one for the existing VDP, one for the 80 column output of the Rememorizer and a third for the new card)? Then I could have some fun writing a set of memory mapped gr...

Re: MTX Serial port schematic

Hi Martin, thanks for replying so soon.

What do the asterisks in your boolean formula mean? AND, I guess.

Also, there doesn't appear to be an IC9 on the photo I posted of the chopped off FDX card. So maybe this is another function of the PLA, or am I missing something?

Cheers

Re: MTX Serial port schematic

Thanks Dave, I didn't think to look in the FDX manual. I did check the page though (first port of call!) but I skipped over the FDX. Hmm, the logic chip seems to be a PLA (which I don't know a lot about!). It's supplying !DARTEN by the looks of it. I can't make much sense of the diagrams - they are ...

MTX Serial port schematic

hi Has anyone got a schematic of the MTX serial card? I am thinking of recreating it as a little project, seeing as how they are pretty rare in the wild. Also, how does it interface to the bus? I am assuming it's addressed via the Z-80's I/O port map (so, for example, OUT (n),A would be used to tran...

Not necessarily Dave.

What type is C, and is there an overloaded ++ operator in its class def?

Re: REMEMOrizer : VGA monitor compatibility

Dave

I have for another old monitor to try with REMemorizer. It's a Dell E153FPf and it works OK.

I do notice some interference in the middle of the screen; not sure if it's the monitor, cable or REMemorizer but it's good for now.

Cheers
