But when I looked at it on a iPad I could only see three wires  , and this does not tie in with the schematic that I posted :( However, after physically checking the wiring of t...

Re: Building a replacement MTX PSU

Actually, comparing the schematic and the pictures I have posted, there is an inconsistency . So can you hang fire please.

I'm at work right now. When I finish and get home I want to double check.

Re: Building a replacement MTX PSU

Connect a temporary DC supply to the input terminals. I used a DC power supply set to 8V, but a 9V battery would be fine. If using a PP3 [NEDA 1604, IEC 6F22, MN1604, 6LR61], best use a brand new one. Connect a digital multimeter to the output terminals. Now locate the preset (variable resistor) on ...

Re: HM6116 2Kx8bit SRAMs on ebay .. ideal for SPECULATOR ?

Spotted some SPECULATOR SRAMs on ebay.. at a respectable price £1.59 for 5pcs Ideal for anyone who is reverse engineering a SPECULATOR ZX Spectrum Emulator ? As these are getting quite rare it's unusual to see them for this sort of price. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HM6116L-120-Pack-of-5-/39101094579...

Re: Building a replacement MTX PSU

I can't make out the wires! In my photos, they are very thin silver coloured wires that come out of the black plastic body of the switch and connect to the terminal very close to the black plastic of the body. Yes, very difficult to see. Your switch may not be the same. I've magnified the PDF and n...
