Re: FDX 80 Column Fault - Video Question . . .

Hi Martin,

no - I haven't tried that, that sounds like a good thing to try.

I just need to work out how to do it first :-)

Re: FDX 80 Column Fault - Video Question . . .

Hi Mark,

thanks a lot for the info - it does help, I just need to read it through a few times for it to sink in :-)

Mr Oscilloscope is tapping his feet 100,000,000 times per second awaiting instructions :-)

Re: Another one lost...

Hi Mark, commiserations ! I was surprised how much it went for, especially when the FDX sold on ebay a few weeks ago only made ~£160. I take it that you saw Inaki's post on Facebook offering his FDX for £400? - Might be worth "negotiating" ? I hope it went to one of the members of the Grou...

Re: MTX500 upgrades....

OK - I lied ! On two counts . . . . . Firstly, the last post was not my final update :) Second, I must have damaged the board during the upgrade attempt - as I have now fixed it! Yes, a successful upgrade using one of Lez's kits and a GAL programmed for me by Andy. Herewith the evidence - yes, it re...

You're right, discrete logic chips are not on the list, you'll just have to buy your own like me :-)
