The original version that Andy did is HTSD.COM I thought Dave had included that on the image.
If not it's in the hextrain archive from Andy's site, which is where I pulled it from for the original testing.

Re: only three weeks to go
The memofest2017(at)btinternet(dot)com is still active too!
The plans so far are:
Fix one of Jim's MTXs
MFX demo
Fix another of Jim's MTXs
cake
Maybe fix another of Jim's MTXs
Gameing time, compare Pothole Pete on the MTX to Pothole Pete on the PC
For a change try and fix Jim's FDX

Re: Pal Daughterboard dead.
Looking at the schematic, the mono signal path, is based on the Y signal and has only 2 resistors, a capacitor and a transistor. So a pretty minimal mono only board ought to be pretty simple to build You can feed the colour difference signals into some modern TVs, and you'll get a nice sharp, and ve...

Re: My second MTX
Swap the space key with the line feed key if it works, that one's almost redundant!

Re: My second MTX
You've got enough of a display there to suggest the CPU and main ram are OK, as an MTX won't get to setting up the text mode if either are dead. If the cursor is flashing, even if corrupt, then the CTC is working too. With a decent resolution picure it's sometimes possible to work out what ram chip ...

Re: MFX mass-storage add-on - Original Thread
A word on the end plate fixings. I could of course blame the "inferior" prrinting of the end plate. But that one looks so much sexier than the ones I did... But I suspect there's a little variation in MTX case dimensions. The PLA printed version of the end plate fits both MTXs here without...

Re: Memofest 2022 possible ? Where ? When ?
The date -should- be good. Both Jim and I checked work schedules etc. before setting the date. Come the end of September though, I'll double check with Jim and then confirm everything is on (or not, but hopefully wont come to that) Diaries have been checked, and double checked, Memo(tech repair)fes...

Re: System test rom/Board
Not shown on the wiring map, but present on the test board are a couple of 0.1uf 0805 SMD capacitors on the back for power supply smoothing. It's such a small board I've not included a bulk decoupling capacitor. You say those are surface mount caps? How do you solder them on the veroboard? I can't ...
