Hi fellas

Thanks for the welcome!

Been busy with relatives and work since it arrived...

Anyway, got around to powering it up and the video and keyboard both seem fine which was a bit of a surprise. I'd heard bad things about the keyboard and it was a bit stiff in places but no bounce or missing keys. A bit of selective pummelling is loosening it up.

So what do I do next? It's in such fantastic condition that I could just pack it away as a museum piece.

What are your must have 'applications' ?

All that aside, it's clearly a beautiful machine and I'm proud to own one.

(BTW - the Smilies look really ugly against the dark background on this site).

You could try the board on the "prosilver" stetting, I prefer that to the black

Margrom (but I may be biased there)

Must have Software
on CPM for me thats: M80, L80 and Newword
Games: Hawkwars

"prosilver" solves the ugly smiles but looses the black nuance. Still I'll stick with the lighter scheme.

Really interested in the modern add-ons so I'll keep watching.

The "must have" hardware (REMEMOrizer) includes the "must have" software!

I will second the MAGROM suggestion - not that I'm biased either of course

Hmm, biased in the sense that it's like a clock that has span round many times at high speed and still stops with the hands pointing in only one direction.
