General "chat", not necessarily MTX related

Play with BBC BASIC, Z80 style :-)
Also if you live in a part of the country where the mains power fails, a battery powered Z88 can be an aid to computer addicts when your laptop battery runs down ;-)

Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb :!:
Looking forward to summer in Somerset later in the year :D

Not as many MTXs as Dave!

Quick update, I scored some more retro swag

Another 48k Speccy
Apple G4 iMac "lamp stand"
G3 iMac "snow"
Dual G4 PowerMac
Tandy TRS-80 Model 4 128k, dual drives, hard drive via CF card
Tandy TRS-80 Model II with 8" floppy
A Multicomp (not retro, a sort of hardware emulation designed by Grant Searle) running CP/M at 25Mhz
Philips P2000C portable CP/M computer, broken drive interface and terminal board.
Commodore PET twin floppy drive unit, needs TLC.

With the TRS80s it's getting tight in there. That Model II is genuinely massive! And I also got a Hakko soldering station, a cheap desoldering station and a Rigol 4 channel DSO (the DS1054Z). Errrmmmmm.....
