Looking at 3-D Printers

Post by lezanderson »

Hi.

Does anyone know what are the best budget 3D printers around ?? I was looking at some for about $300 as kits but as I don't know anything about them I was soon out of my depth !

No experience of 3D printing here, I'm interested in what others know too...

Not something that I have played with, but this site has some interesting information on electronics, general tinkering and 3D printing

Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb :!:

Just using an inexpensive 3D printer seems to b e a good way of doing things like , printer/making cartridge cases, PCB box/cases to house electronics projects etc. The main drawback of cheap printers seems to be the poor quality plastic used, that doesn't seem very durable ?
