Memotech production numbers

Is there any records about the production quantities of the three MTX models? Are we talking tens or hundreds of thousands in total? The numbers must be considerably smaller compared to pretty much all other 8-bit computer models as the Memotechs are pretty hard to come by nowadays. I think even Orics are more common than Memotechs.
The one that I own is so far the only Memotech I've ever seen live here in Finland. I know that at least a couple of other specimens exist here but compared to the "Computer of the Republic" they're rare as hen's teeth.
