He could probably do with the profile of the plastic part at the rear of the case as well, given that he's looking to replicate the whole shape.

Wow!

That's brilliant, you've even gotten the interlocking profile like the MTX case - great work

Thanks! I hope I got the dimension right as the length based on the original linework was 1,3 meters! I took a measure from the case and managed to scale it down to 20,2 centimeters. Still need to make the end plates. I didn't take any references from the plastic profile yet as I figured the end plate would keep it in shape and in the case of the CFX, it leaves the CF card accessible.

If someone has access to 3D printer, I can send the files so that you can try it out.

Here's the side plate. I also made one without the expansion slot.

Hi Guys,

I have had a go at printing the top half of the case, my printer is not the fastest in the world and the top half was projected to take 20 hours to print!

I left it running overnight and it wasn't finished when I had to leave the house this morning. I was out most of the day and just got back - half expecting the print to have failed, but, lo and behold - it had finished and looked REALLY good! - Well done Tero!

A couple of quick photos attached - apologies for the poor quality, but it was late.

Next step is to print the base - the software is predicting that that will "only" take 14 hours - so, more news "soon".

Wow! That looks awesome!

How does it line up dimension-wise with the memotech case?
