A bit early.

Post by Crazyboss »

Hi
I know its a bit early, maybe - but any suggestions where and when the Memofest 2019 is going to be?

I think I heard that some Museum in UK was interested to host, but not sure where I picked that up?

Wasn't that the computer museum in Cambridge?

You mean the Cambridge Centre for Computing History?

Address
Centre for Computing History
Rene Court
Coldhams Road
Cambridge
CB1 3EW

They host some ABug events for the Acorn community. See this post over on Stardot ;)

Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb :!:
Looking forward to summer in Somerset later in the year :D

Not as many MTXs as Dave!

If its Cambridge, I looks like there is an airport nearby, but its seems like its closed, at least its not possible to fly there from Copenhagen :)

Try flights to and from London Stanstead - that's got a direct train to Cambridge, takes about half an hour according to the time table.

Could be a Plan, cause its also cheaper to fly to there :)

But we will know when we come closer, who will be the host and the dates :)

Great we have a host now :)

Hope I can go, Bill should maybe contact Andy, cause I dont think Bill is on facebook. There could be others.

For me its 5th and 19th the only options (right now). The 5th is preferred, cause 19th could be quite busy and pricey cause of Danish Hollydays in that week, where a lot of people might travel.
