This last weekend was the annual "Elite: Dangerous" community game convention and I took seven computers with me as part of the retro-gaming exhibition, including my MTX512.
Given that many of the players are "84'ers", i.e. played Elite when it first came out in 1984, surprisingly few knew about of remembers the MTX despite it appearing many a time in PCW and "Your Computer" etc.
Anyway, good fun was had by all and the MTX + CFX ran without a fault.
Anyway, here's how the MTX display looked...
MTX on the road.

What does the little story in the picture frame say?

Re: MTX on the road.
I just threw something together quite quickly... (So much so I put "Strange Science" rather than "Weird Science"!)
Re: MTX on the road.
Nice Crib Sheet and info!
I’m glad that CFX seemed to perform OK

In case any of you want to use the displays, here they are (ODT word processor files) with "Strange Science" fixed.

“There are four lights!”
Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb

Autumn is here. Bye bye summer 2024...
Not as many MTXs as Dave!
