Hi Folks,
you may be aware of a MTX programming guide called The Source, written by Keith Hook in 1984. A few of us have copies, but the document is pretty limited in scope and contains some errors.
Martin has written an expanded version and given it the snappy title ReSource, actually, it was going to be called ReSource 2020 but I have been sitting on it for a while (sorry Martin!) and Martin has been working it for even longer!
Anyway, I published it on my website a few weeks ago. Since then,Bill has made some edits and added quite a bit of content of his own. The hope is that other MTX "gurus" might like to contribute too and make this the "go to" document for programming the MTX. You can download the latest version from here . . . .

“There are four lights!”
Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb

Autumn is here. Bye bye summer 2024...
Not as many MTXs as Dave!

Re: "The Source" revisited - ReSource
Thanks from me too. Great work.
Would you be interested in more submissions to this? I'm sure I can come up with a chapter or too.
I've always had this idea of writing a book, in the style written in the 80s, covering all the ways the MTX can be expanded, e.g. error codes, USER, Panel, Noddy, interrupts.

THIS is what Memotech is doing now.

Hi Paul,
Absolutely! As I say on the webpage “ It is likely that others will have useful contributions to make. If you have anything that you'd like to contribute, please get in touch.”
Martin has an update in the process of being added. Once that is done, we can freeze it while you make edits/additions if you like?
Regards
Dave
