Spotted a Homebrew V9990 board on MSX.org Forum

not necessarily MTX related, and the V9990 IC I believe is not backwards compatible with the TMS9918/V9938/V9958 VDP but still quite interesting.

I scanned through the datasheet, it is an interesting chip, but being surface mount mean it's beyond my soldering skills.

Does anyone here have a method for hand soldering 0.05 surface mount ?

PLCC and through hole are so much easier to deal with when point to point soldering.
