The action at weekends is intended to mess up Network Rail’s engineering work schedule.

The strike action by the RMT is cancelled for this Saturday (tomorrow). However, most train companies say that they don’t have time to arrange to run a normal Saturday service.

So if anyone intends to try to travel by train, please do check beforehand which services are actually planned to run.

The cancellation of the train strike came too late for me to attend. I hope that all those who make it have an enjoyable and productive day.

Can't be, Martin. When was the last time you saw a Pi for 30 quid?
The one Raspberry Pi that is cheep, and still relatively available, is the Pico. It is powerful enough to run MEMU.

Which leaves £5 for whatever other bits (keyboard, PSU, cables) you don't have to hand.
