MFX GAL Update to support MAGROM

By default, MAGROM cannot be used with MFX due a clash in the memory maps.

Martin has done a modification to the MFX GAL to allow MFX to co-exist with MAGROM.

This means that MFX BASIC loses access to 128k of the RAM, leaving "only" 384k for BASIC. Very few users have both MFX and MAGROM, but if you want to use the two at the same time, you can download the GAL update from the Firmware page.

I probably should add you also need a rememorizor compatible Magrom, which the early ones weren't without patch wires..

Can you point out how to tell the difference, so that people know how to tell them apart.

Dave has all the info in his site (of course)
http://primrosebank.net/computers/mtx/p ... magrom.htm
The hardware revisions are at the bottom. V1.1 has rememorizor support

http://primrosebank.net/computers/mtx/p ... orizer.htm
Has the instruction on how to modify a 1.0 or 1.0a board.

NB the yellow wired example at the top of that page page IS the Magrom board I've been testing the 384k GAL with :D
