One option is to get an MFX.
That has a VGA output. Then VGA to HDMI converters are cheap and readily available.

Re: MFX with a difference
If you regard the RAM socket freed by the larger FPGA as an expansion socket, then inspired by Dave Snowden's post, other expansion boards that could be added include:
- I2S sound chip.
- A to D chip
- D to A chip
- Digital I/O (GPIO) chip

Re: What do you do with your MTX?
Sadly I don't make much use of my MTX now :( Only when collaborating with Martin and Dave on projects. Even then I tend to do most of the software development using MEMU rather than real hardware. You may want to play implementing cellular automata . I have spent many MTX hours in that way in the pa...

Re: MFX with a difference
Until someone converts CPM 3 to the MTX, it's just me showing off, there's no actual use for it! There is already one use for it. The FATCOPY utility for copying CP/M files into a FAT partition (see section 8.13 of the MFX user manual v1.20) currently has to supply a dummy or user specified date an...

Re: MTXLib
[A cursory look at the source code for your version Bill, that looks like that is still the case. Quite the contrary. The code you reference is what is supposed to emulate counter mode for channels 1 & 2. The counter pins for channels 1 & 2 on the MTX are connected to the output of a divide...

Re: MFX with a difference
If the FPGA pins previously used to connect to the external VRAM are re-purposed to connect to the remaining Z80 address and control lines then it might be possible to implement DMA transfer between the SD card and Z80 RAM, potentially speeding up I/O. If I remember correctly, the FDX uses DMA to re...

It is perhaps worth mentioning this thread.
If you are not confident in your ability to build one of these yourself, you may be able to get assistance from a local electronics club or maker space.

Re: MEMU (not only) on Pico
Wayland supports X11, so no need to change. If you run XWayland, which I gather is becoming optional / not default on some distributions. If the emulator interfaces with the standard UNIX/Linux serial ports then I guess you don't need GPIO, unless people want to use the emulator as a systems develo...

Re: MEMU (not only) on Pico
I have just pushed a new version of MEMU to my GitHub repository . The main feature of this release is that the configuration dialog offers the option of MFX emulation instead of CFX-II emulation. Given that MFX is the latest & greatest expansion, I thought that was appropriate. CFX-II emulation...

Re: IS there any interest in.... MemoChat
For MemoFest I used Skype as that allows 24h with multiple participants with no charge.

You don't need any installation, you can just use the browser, but that does (I think) require using Edge, at least for the host.
