Memotech MTX512 Wanted

Post by jonesypeter »

Hi,

If anyone in the UK is selling a very good condition MTX512 could they contact me?

I'm preferably after one that has not been adapted or repaired.

Based in recent eBay sale prices, I would be looking to spend upto £315 for a very good example.

Cheers.

Watch out for Dave! He appears to be trying to build up the largest number of Memotech computers owned by anyone...

Good luck :D

Dave I note from your website you are after the April 2005 issue of PCW. The Computer History museum here in the UK have a copy. I'm sure they would scan the pages in return for a small donation.

Hi,

thanks for the info, but it's not something that I would want to pay for 8-)

I suspect that the Memotech "article" is likely to be a half page at most, probably a brief mention of it as a 1980s computer, rather than anything substantial. I just want to add it to the site for completeness.

The site is intended to capture and preserve anything MTX related and is totally self-funded, I pay all of the hosting and other costs and make ALL of the content available for free download. Paying additional money to add to the content is not an attractive option I'm afraid

regards
Dave
