The ' Grundy NewBrain' a forgotten micro from the past.

Post by lezanderson »

The Grundy NewBrain was a 80s Z80 based British microcomputer, now much forgotten.

It was based on minimal hardware, probably to keep costs down very much in the style of the ZX81/ZX Spectrum. Hardware consisted of a Z80 CPU, RAM, ROM, a dedicated COP (coprocessor/ULA??) to do most of the Work , including Video, Glue Logic, I/O plus quite a few TTL chips etc
