Wow! - the world has gone mad!

(For anyone who doesn't use eBay, it's worth noting that eBay will take over £77 of that price, plus the £2 or so that they skim off the postage)

No they won't, because its a free listing on their "Sell three for three" offer. :D

Bear in mind that it was listed with a 99p starting price, so it's the world that has gone mead, not the seller (me)!

£601, is that a record for a standard MTX512? The last MTX500 went for £511 but it didn't have an end flurry of bids. it achieved that price with a few days to go, and stayed there until the end.

Or when a friendly collector buys the stuff off you away from eBay!

It ended at £621, sold to a US collector, so postage is horribly expensive. I hope he has a 240v power supply and a PAL TV / monitor or he is going to be disappointed...

I also had an Amiga 1200 up, and that went for £510. Colour me surprised...

Nice weekend's work, Jon!

Any plans to plough the spoils into another retro passion?

So the next Memofest is on Jon then, with pints all round

I’m not sure to say well done or just jibber with shock at those amazing bid amounts that you got there

But I do hope that the bidders do pay up.
