Wonder if the Tektite font here might help: https://juanitogan.itch.io/p8-programming-fonts, has a cp1252 and a cp437 version, not sure what would be better?

I took a quick look at these, but I don't think they help. The MTX requires 8x10 bitmaps, which I don't think are included there.

The CP850 font I showed, also a CP437 font which I didn't show, came from the collection here.

[*]When I was developing my DIY Navtex receiver, the decoding software was developed on my MTX, using the CTC for timing. (I thought that at one time Dave had a page for this as it is Z80 based, but if so I can no longer find it).

That’s my fault - another example of poor site layout and indexing - sorry!

Ah well, pity.

I'll look for some 8x10 bitmap fonts.

I did wonder about the BBC master font, with some hand edits for descenders etc. to make use of the extra rows. But that too has "useful" letters in the 128-143 area.
