Amongst the parts supplied by Lez, I received a 6309E, 6850ACIA and a max232.
Ideal for building one of Grant Searle's serial port connected computers running BASIC

The 6309E is pin and software compatible with the 6809E, so all I had to do was add the external clock parts, which the 6809 in Grant's design doesn't need, and 8 IC's later I have a basic, BASIC computer, and plenty of room on the eurocard sized board for any extra bits I feel like adding.
The source code for the rom, links to the assembler and other useful bits are all on Grant's pages.
