Maxima, as WAV

Post by muldjord »

Hi guys,
Been a while. I recently bought my second Memotech MTX512. As luck would have it it also came with a game called Maxima. It is documented at primrosebank but I haven't been able to find it anywhere as the original WAV file. So in case you are interested I managed to record it directly from the tape to WAV. I've tested it on real hardware and it works perfectly. Grab it at http://www.muldjord.com/downloads/mtx512_maxima.wav. Feel free to upload it anywhere you'd like. Credit is appreciated, but certainly not required.

If there's interest in hi-res scans of the tape cover (and/or tape), let me know. It is in quite good condition.

I've also made a very poor, quick video of the game. My grabber box is currently not in working order, so this'll have to do for now. It at least give you an idea of what the game is. You'll have to excuse the incessant clicking sounds. That's my competition pro joystick. :S Video can be found here: https://youtu.be/eWCCQ1cFspY
