Bill Brendling and Tony Brewer provided some very useful information and a disassembly of the Node ROM
See this thread https://mtxworld.dk/memorum/viewtopic.php?t=236
The Node ROM provided the backbone for a peer-to-peer network between MTX computers equipped with the ROM pack, an RS232 interface board and a simple cable. Although it was not needed to get the ring network up and running, Node also supported the inclusion of FDX computers in the ring. FDX support was enabled by a CP/M program called ncpm.com.
Martin has taken a copy of the program, completely disassembled it and created a very interesting Technical Note on its functions. You can read the note and access the program disassembly here http://www.primrosebank.net/computers/m ... e_ncpm.htm
