Is the red coloured text okay for you?
Do you think that having a black background with red and with white coloured text is easy or hard to read?
Let's have your comments

Re: Do members like the colour scheme of the forum?
I quite like it. I suppose the colours were chosen as they are similar to the MTX colour scheme.

I don't have strong feelings either way . . . .
Yes, the colour schem is quite nice in that it emphasies the Memotech theme, but . . .
I do take Jon's point about it not being too easy on the eye to read, particularly when entering or replying to messages.
Maybe there's a compromise, keep the existing theme for the stuff that has been entered, but have the edit window set to colours more easy on the eye?
regards
Dave

Re: Do members like the colour scheme of the forum?
Hate it, now I am using the forum in anger. See my other (similar thread).. Doh.
Thing is, it looks cool on a 30 year old brushed aluminium computer, but not on a screen where you have to read a load of text.
My eyes hurt!
Compare it with, say, this one: http://stardot.org.uk/forums/
Se what I mean?

Re: Do members like the colour scheme of the forum?
The other very short (at the moment) thread.
Myself, I am using both a Linux OS that uses a Sharp AQUOS LCD TV for it's display and a smartphone when I am out and about.
I don't have a problem with the colour scheme myself. But when using the PC, I do use the Zoom that Firefox has, as I am a little bit short-sighted and cannot stand using my spectacles when using computers.

Re: Do members like the colour scheme of the forum?
Maybe we should consider another board style (at the moment there is only one style available) that members can select, then each member can choose.

Re: Do members like the colour scheme of the forum?
I was going to try that this morning (select another theme). Shame there's no alternative.
Re: Do members like the colour scheme of the forum?
Hi Guys.
For a start, I added a "PS3" style, into the board, you can change to this style by, going to your user control panel, and board preferences (or something like that).
More styles will be added when I have time.

I hope you like the "PS3" Style, I try to find more styles. I guess we dont need more "DARK" styles;)
