Quick question about REMEMOrizer. I read on primrosebank.net (specifically, here : http://primrosebank.net/computers/mtx/p ... orizer.htm) that it supports 80x24 and 80x48 modes. How do you switch it into 48 line mode, or have I got that wrong?
The other non related question I wanted to ask was this: In one of the demo videos, Andy (I guess he is doing the demo) changes the screen colours of the VDP display to white on black because with the standard colour there is a lit of video interference. How is that done? I tried setting paper and ink but BASIC always resets it when it goes to the command prompt.
Cheers

Re: 40 line mode?
Hi Jon,
dare I say it? - but . . . .
It's on the web page and in the manual
<ctrl> Z
<crtl> Y
Yes, Paper and Ink always reset to default when back at the command prompt.
I've just looked at the demo you mentioned, as you know, Andy doesn't explain what he has done.
I think that he has probably used REZPATCH to patch the ROM screen colours, I don't know the ROM locations for the screen attributes though I'm afraid

Re: 40 line mode?
Try CRTL-F CTRL-G <enter> for white on black at the CPM prompt
Re: 40 line mode?
Hi Martin,
Yes, those codes will change the 80 column display attributed, I think that Jon was looking to change the colours on the 40 column MTX screen, rather than the 80 column one though

Hi Dave
I looked at Andy's page and couldn't see anything. I thought yours was a copy.

Re: 40 line mode?
Hi Jon,
no problem - with REMEMOrizer, I didn't just want to copy Andy's comprehensive info - I thought it just better to point to his page.
Still looking at how to change the screen colours - unless Andy responds first
regards

Do you think... SHOCK HORROR! ... that I should pose this question on the FB group?
Re: 40 line mode?
CRTL-Z CRTL-Y
Doesn't work with rememorizer. Maybe with the MTX 80 column board, but I get nowt. Hmm..

Re: 40 line mode?
Jon,
just to be clear - you are doing this under CP/M aren't you?
The 48 line text mode is for CP/M - allowing you to run Newword in 48 line mode.
It doesn't change the MTX 40 column screen.
You knew that yes?
